ERRP Report
The ERRP report was presented. The committee wanted to know if all craft employees, not just the CORE committee, would receive training. The ERRP facilitator said the employees will be trained when the CORE committee starts looking at the work areas to reduce or eliminate MSDs. ERRP bulletin boards are in place. They are located in the main lobby between the pay phones.
Boat Hooks
Boat hooks have been ordered. 13 were given to tour 3 and 8 were given to tour 2. Maintenance will be ordering another 25. This will become a stock item.
Birds
The current device works by using a pulsating sound, but it appears the birds have become immune to this device. Echo Labs recommended fluids, netting, and gel substance be put on and around the I-beams. Nests need to be found. Maintenance will keep us posted on their progress.
Pallet Lifter
A pallet lifter has been ordered for the Bull pen by ERRP and signed by the plant manager. A JSA has been developed for the operation and will go out as a safety talk. When the pallet lifter comes in another JSA will be developed for that equipment.
