Sack shakeout is being reviewed.

Bird Problem

Netting has been installed in the west wall area.  Some birds have been trapped, and ECO Labs will come out the same day to retrieve birds from netting.

Form 1767

● All supervisors should be notified that a form 5500 needs to be initiated on bad trailers.

● 1767s going to VC should be given to the STO on duty, and in a timely manner.

● A letter will be going out to notify supervisors and managers to date when employee have been notified and give a copy of the completed form to employees.

● 1767s were reviewed by the committee.

PIVMS

Will update unions when we get information about the warranty on PIVMS.

Chocking Procedures

Current procedures for chocking are in place and will not be changed at this time and the committee agrees; also a letter from the plant manager stating the policies. (the following is a statement from last month meeting that the APWU wanted added to these minutes) APWU contends that a mailhandler wanting to check and see if the trailers are chocked has to get permission from their immediate Supervisor AND be escorted by someone in management. The APWU read the minutes of 1/11/05 which states such and the MDO statement on the 1767 dated 3/14/06 which talks about a particular employee. Would like the Plant Manager put out a policy statement on such. Will review first order of business next meeting.

Pedestrian Crossing Lines

Lou Morrone and Ron Overton walked the floor to identify areas for crosswalks in the building.  Copies of the areas will be discussed at the next meeting to try to devise a plan for implementation.

BLOOD PRESSURE MACHINE

The company is being notified to find out when was the recent calibration of this machine, and if were there any problems.

1769s

Supervisors should be reviewing the JSA to see how it relates to any reported accident. Debris Belt – So Primary

Waiting on electrical parts.  Should be in today and operational by tomorrow.

Crosswalk – West Parking Lot

No update yet on locations.   Ron Overton, Joe McGugan, and maybe the IE or someone from maintenance will take a look at what can be done about a crosswalk coming from the west parking lot..

Next Meeting tentatively scheduled for Wednesday 31 May, 2006 on Tour 1 at 6:00 AM.
