I started researching my family roots a few years ago, particularly my French-Canadian side of the family. I am a member of the American-French Genealogical Society and the Northern New York American-Canadian Genealogical Society (NNYA-CGS). I also maintain a web page specifically dealing with the LaBarge and Laberge surnames.
I use both Personal Ancestral File (TM) and Ancestral Quest (TM) software to maintain my data bases.
