Hi my name is LadyGenes aka Valeria. This is my Garden of Friendship page. I am so very proud to be a member of the Garden of Friendship and to be associated with a group of people that truly care about one another. No one is ever without a friend here. In my spare time I love to research my family history. Genealgoy means everything to me because it was a hobby I shared with my dad until he just recently died, 10 April 2007, and one I will continue to do. I also share that hobby with my mom and we will continue on in dad's memory.

I have just recently joined the Pet Lovers Committee and am looking forward to particpating in that group. I have 4 dogs (all shelties) Emma a sable, Cody a sable, Scottie a blue merle, and Aidan also a sable. Along with the dogs I have 3 cats, Syvanna a calico, Fionna a silver/gray short hair, and her litter mate brother Bubby who is what they call a Tuxedo cat. He is all black with a little white mask on his face.

Other hobbies I enjoy doing are cross stitch, reading a good book, crocheting, and I dabble a little in photography. Not very good at it but I like taking picutres. The thing that satisfies me the most of all my hobbies is cross stitch. There is nothing more satisfing then to take a blank piece of Aida cloth and creating a picture on it. That is such a good peaceful feeling for me.

I love soothing music without words. After a stressing day at work I love to come home and listen to some good instrumental music. My favorite colors are pastels and my favorite color is purple. I once painted (with the help of my best friend Carrey) my kitchen in three different shades of purple. The border I used for the kitchen was a grapes border. By the time we were done it was like walking into a field of lilac's. That was my favorite room in the house. It was just beautiful.
