This article reprinted from Edmonton's Mosaic magazine, reflects the experience of just one of the many patients who have found relief for their conditions through treatment by Ms. Strong.  It answers many common questions about acupuncture,  and what you - as a patient - can expect when you visit our clinic.

Finding a qualified practitioner:

To find a qualified acupuncture practitioner in your area, check the yellow pages under "Acupuncture" and find the ad from the Acupuncture Society of Alberta. (Similar advertisements exist for other provinces).

Members of the Society have completed extensive training and have passed the Alberta acupuncture registration exam administered by the Alberta Health Disciplines Board.

Always ask where the practitioner trained, how long the training was (hours/years), how long she or he has been in practice and what experience they have had in treating your particular ailment.

Ask around - have any of your friends or relatives found an outstanding practitioner?
