After high school, I attended New Mexico Military Institute which was a life changing experience to say the least. Following graduation, I went on to New Mexico State University. I had a wonderful time there immersing myself in civilian life. I was president of a fraternity, elections office for the university, and a cartoonist for the school paper along with Dave Voelz and Ken Kestell. Truth be told, Dave was the guy who did most of the art work... Ken and I came up with the puns. I graduated with a degree in business and moved to San Antonio where I've been ever since. A few years ago I earned an MBA to bolster my experience in the human resources field. Most recently, I was the senior director of HR for an oncology drug development company. The company sold and allowed me to pursue alternative ventures. Cash in hand and along with a couple of partners, we founded a software development firm called iNQUATE Corp. We develop human capital management software. I am also employed as a Service Center Operational Delivery Expert for Accenture. In the course of my business, I have traveled to Europe a few times... specifically Scotland, Poland, Germany, and Croatia. While those countries are interesting, I'll stick with the USA.
Robyn and I married in March 1983 and Evan came along in 1992. Contrary to my abilities, Evan is a tremendously talented athlete and an honors student. I have remained active in Scouting and look forward to the day when Evan will become an Eagle Scout. As for other interests, we raise and train Golden Retrievers and I still cycle quite a bit participating in century rides. I own a small racing sailboat and serve as a member of a race crew of a large sailboat. I enjoy being outdoors despite the heat in Texas.
I am interested in hearing from anyone from our class and wish all of you and your families the very best.
