Then I went to New Mexico State where I earned a Mechanical Engineering degree (go Ags). I bought my first mountain bike in 1982 and brought it back to Los Alamos. I soon became the first person to ride a mountain bike across Peggy Sue Bridge. I started my engineering career at the Zia Co., where I met Kay. We got married on one of those gorgeous Jemez October indian summer days. We enjoyed 5 years of probably the best snow in Pajarito history. We also played a lot of fun golf and enjoyed being close to our family and friends. We left LA in 1988 for career opportunities in Tucson. I work for Arizona Electric Power Cooperative, going on 18 years. It is a fun and challenging job where I never do the same thing twice and never get really good at anything either. One of the joys of my life is our 12-yr. old daughter, Addison. She keep Kay and I busy with soccer (I coach), basketball, swimming, and homework. I am very blessed. Back to Alumni
