Children: Weston (21), Sarah (16), Cory (16), Danny (8) and Molly (7)
After high school, I attended Sterling College in Kansas where I played
football for 4 years. I was interested in sports medicine and got a Bachelors
Degree in Physical Education. While attending college, I became an EMT
and worked part time with the local ambulance service. I really enjoyed
that type of work, so I decided to attend Davenport College in Grand
Rapids MI and became a Paramedic. Since 1983, I worked in Oklahoma City
for 4 years. I then moved to Greeley, CO and have worked as a Flight
Paramedic for AirLife of Greeley the last 20 years. I have completed
nearly 3 thousand missions, seeing tragedy and miracles. Half of the
flights are a joy ride, the other half can be stressful.
I have been fortunate to travel over the past 30 years. My travels have
taken me to Europe, Egypt, Kenya, China, Western Pacific, Caribbean,
Peru, Argentina
and Antarctica. I also enjoy jumping on the motorcycle and taking off on long
hauls. The best ride I took was a 6 thousand mile trip through Canada and down
the pacific coast then back to Colorado. I try to go somewhere on the bike
every summer. Now remarried, I am living in Colorado Springs with Ami.
We married the
30th September of last year in Cimarron, NM at the St. James Hotel. She has
the same desire as I to travel and see the world. We are looking forward
to the future
