Mike CollierChildren: Joshua (16), Courtney (13) and Katelyn (13) After staying in Los Alamos for a year working I attended NMSU and studied Mechanical and Architectural design/drafting. For my first job out of school I returned to Los Alamos and worked for Los Alamos Technical Associates (LATA). After about 4 years there I decided to try another job that moved me to Albuquerque. This job lasted about 2 years and it was time to move on again. My next job brought me back to Los Alamos to work at LANL where I've been ever since. I lived up in the Jemez mountains for over 10 years where I was very active in the Volunteer Fire Department fighting wildland, structural fires, performing medical and search rescue missions. Also spending a lot of my time doing things as an officer in the department. The thing I enjoy the most is spending time with my kids. My son Josh, who just returned from a mission trip in Jamaica, loves church activities, playing video games, playing his bass guitar and spending time with friends. My twin daughters Courtney and Katelyn also enjoy church activities, texting on the cell phone and spending time with there friends. When I have spare time which is not much I enjoy spending time outdoors camping, backpacking, fishing, and mountain biking. |
