I joined the Air Force and became a Jet Engine Mechanic, did this for
4 years. Went to Japan and Utah. Decided I wanted to see the world. A
friend of mine told to become a crew member so I changed my job and became
a Flight Engineer on Cargo aircraft. I enjoyed it so much that the next
16 year flew by and I which gave me the chance to see many countries
and places that where wonderful and a few not so wonderful places. While
I was flying all over the world the military stationed me in Tacoma,
WA, and last couple year in Oklahoma until I retired from the military.
The military stationing me in the northwest I decided to relocate there
and start my next life of trying to find a job and going to school. Me
and my family moved to Vancouver, WA, and have lived there since. Went
to school for drafting and found my self playing with computers more
than doing the drafting so I changed to some computer science degrees
and after many classes graduated and got my licenses right in time for
a great boom in IT guys being laid off. While I was having fun going
to school I worked as a warehouseman, worked in a silicon wafer factory
and did a little IT work.
By accident stumbled onto a job on monster.com and applied and got hired
by Nielsen TV ratings company. Wonderful company and great job.
I got married in Utah and have been married for the last 25 year. I
have 2 sons who are grown up starting there on lives.
