This is an ideal place for bird watching and enjoying nature.  There are raccoons, coyotes, deer, eagles, osprey, wild turkeys, and bear.  No rattlesnakes are ever seen.

The cabin was originally designed as a retirement home and is suitable for up to six people.  The garage provides space for two vehicles.  The cabin is about 100 feet higher than Beautiful Lake Roosevelt and only about 200 feet away from the lake.  This setting provides a very private and peaceful getaway. Normally the lakefront is entirely private.  The cabin is situated on 13 acres of forestland and the nearest neighbor is about a half mile away.

You will not be disturbed by phone.  There is NO phone!  Cellular phones work fine if you need to stay in touch.

Pets are welcome.  Dogs enjoy the open space.

The two bedrooms have full size beds in each room.  The living room can be setup to sleep anther two people.  Bring your food with you.  The nearest store is 17 miles away!  Bedding, linen, cleaning, and washer/dryer are provided.  Electric baseboard heaters provide heat.  However, most people prefer the wood stove.  Firewood is provided in the wood shed. 

There is a picnic area, a barbecue, and a horseshoe pit.
