On-Site Sessions
On-site personal training sessions may take place in a health club, a private residence, a corporate facility or a public location such as a local park. If you choose to train with me at a health club be aware that the policies are different from place to place. Make sure to check with your health club to find out what their policies are regarding bringing in your own trainer. Best Ever Fitness is based in Framingham, MA. On-site sessions are available for locations that require a commute of 20 minutes or less.
Getting Started
In order to help me understand your needs and goals and for us to confidently make the decision to work together I offer an initial one hour consultation, free of charge. During this consultation we will discuss your goals and your expectations about personal training. I will request information from you including your health history, any current or past injuries and your exercise experience. I will give you an overview of the training process, answer your questions, and evaluate the space and available equipment at the proposed training location.
Equipment
It is not required that you have your own equipment, but it is recommended that you have some basic pieces. Things I typically recommend are a stability ball, a small selection of dumbells, and resistance bands.
Scheduling
Sessions are for one hour and may include aerobic exercise, weight training or a combination of the two in addition to flexibility work. Most clients will schedule sessions with me either once or twice a week depending on their goals, schedule, skill level, and motivation. The frequency of your sessions is up to you and will be mutually agreed upon during the initial consultation.
