In Memory of Casey Wayne Holt

A Quiet Genius

This site is a commemoration of a quiet wizard named Casey Holt.

·        Born February 25th, 1963

·        Born into eternal life December 24th, 2002

Casey was a dear friend of all in Minnesota MUFON, The Tesla Society, The Theosophical Society and many others.  Casey was a brilliant field investigator and a true electronics wizard.  He had conducted some truly fascinating experiments with magnetic levitation, temperature sensing, and other topics - often related to anomaly studies, etc.  He had been heavily involved in field investigation of UFO sightings since we formed the current investigator group in 1996.

In addition to being a science/technology wizard, he was also a true spiritual seeker.  The combination of the two had led him to involvement in many fascinating adventures:  Backpacking, hiking, canoeing, and other outdoor sports, experiments and field research on the paranormal, and studies of spiritual and metaphysical topics with the Theosophical society, CSETI (Center for the Study of Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence), and the Monroe Institute.

Casey was born February 25th,1963 in Park Falls, Wisconsin to Albert and Joan (Gauger) Holt. He attended grade school and high school in Denmark, Wisconsin and graduated at or near the top of his class in the class of 1981. He attended Marquette University and graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical engineering.

He is the oldest of six children. Next is his brother Kelly who lives in Two Rivers, WI, Then Cory, who lives in Sturgeon Bay, WI.  His Three younger sisters are Holly Dam of Milwaukee, WI, Heidi Klein of Manitowoc, WI and Hayley Vandenbush of Belgium, WI. His brother Kelly is married to Heidi Link. Cory’s wife is named Frankie and is from England.  Holly is married to Tuan Dam, Heidi is married to Eric Klein, and Hayley is married to Matt Vandenbush.  Casey’s maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Gauger of Baileys Harbor, WI and his paternal grandmother is Emma Holt of Park Falls, Wis. his grandfathers are the late Albert C. Holt and the late Harold Gauger.

On summer holidays Casey would love to meet all the family in Door County by his Grandmother Elizabeth's house on Kangaroo Lake in Baileys Harbor. The whole family would go hiking, waterskiing, biking, etc. - and Casey would love to take out his inventions, such as his pedaling canoe and test them on the water.

Casey will be missed by all who knew him.
