Minnesota MUFON meets at 1:30 PM at the New Brighton Family Center:

Located at the junction of Old Hwy 8 and 10^th St NW, New Brighton, MN

We meet on the second Saturday of each month to discuss the latest sightings, encounters, and news of the UFO, Paranormal and Close Encounter world. All meetings are open to the public. Admission for regular meetings is $3 per person for MUFON members, and $5 per person for non-members.   Meetings with guest speakers (April 10 and June 12) admission is $10 for MUFON members and $12 for non-members.

Upcoming meeting dates are:

• Jan. 9  -  Bob Schultz has a presentation on Crop Circles.  He put this together for a “Critical Thinker’s” group where it was received very well.  Bob had been researching and investigating crop circles for years.

• Feb. 13  -   Bob Engberg will present his research:  “Van Allen Radiation Belt – Its Ramifications for Ufology and the Space Program.”   This will be followed by the video “UFOs - The Greatest Story Ever Denied.”

• Mar. 13 -  DVD of Stanton Friedman’s presentation from the MUFON Symposium, “Pseudoscience of Anti-Ufology.”  Stanton shows some of the alternate energy sources he worked on as a nuclear physicist.    The second half of the program will also be a video from the 2009 MUFON Symposium – Dr. Jeffrey Bennett’s “Beyond UFOs: The Scientific Search for Extraterrestrial Life.”  Dr. Bennett is an astronomer, who along with Seth Shostak, has written college astronomy textbooks.  In this video he explains the skeptic’s point of view on UFOs.

• Apr. 10 – Guest Speaker:  Kenneth Storch - Ken’s experience with UFOs began when he was in the military.  He has investigated numerous UFO incidents, including the Cash/Landrum case, cattle mutilations, and Dulce, NM.  Ken was on an episode of “UFO Hunters” last year, and has been on several of History Channel’s “UFO Files” programs.  Ken works as a law enforcement officer, having worked as both a police officer and deputy sheriff in various areas of Colorado; giving him a unique perspective on the phenomenon.

• May 8  -  Open for suggestions

• Jun 12 - Guest Speaker:  Rob Simone -  Paranormal radio show host, author of several books, he has several DVDs out, including ‘UFOlogy 101”  and “UFOs – International and Sacred Places Decoded.”  Rob has traveled through 27 countries exploring mysterious places and the unexplained phenomenon that surrounds them.  He is one of Fate Magazines “Top 100 Ufologists.”

Minnesota MUFON will have a table at the convention.
In addition I will be speaking on the topics of contact, UFO abduction and alien contact. I also plan to hold a creative trance workshop, etc. Stay tuned for further developments
