Several years ago I rediscovered LARAMIE, a western of style and of substance. I was impressed once again with the performance of Robert Fuller, whose career I had followed since I was a child, and was fascinated by the storylines and work the producer, John C. Champion, brought to the show. LARAMIE was, in many ways, ahead of its time. Its fourth season opener, "Among the Missing", which aired in 1963 was a definite commentary on prejudice, a risky venture for the times.

Since joining the world of the internet several years ago, I've yet to find a decent website for this well deserving show. I, myself, have devoted several pages on my own site to other favorites, ignoring, until now, this fine show. However, the time has come, and as I build this site, it is my hope that those who visit will be able to recapture some past memories.

Once upon a time, I was going to write a book on LARAMIE. I had had the good fortune of meeting the 3 prime folks involved (Fuller, Smith, and Champion), but life detoured and those plans went asunder. However, it's left me with a wealth of information and trivia, and as time permits, perhaps I'll share some of that here. Regardless, enjoy your stay, and feel free to let me know your thoughts about LARAMIE and this website. ...and now, on with the show...
