Digital Paintings Five

Painting is a pleasure.  In it, I take considerable relaxation and relief from the busy world and its unbalanced mix of positives and negatives.  These are harder times than most think.  But the possibility of enjoying life is always with us.
 


Picnic
This is a form of shadows-painting -- the figures developed out of a deeper part of
mind than the ordinary.  I don't know what the "meaning" is, and do not worry about
that, though every time I look at a shadows-painting, something in it suggests itself.

The impetus for this sort of image is my desire to look closely at what is common and therefore not seen.

This is a long-lived plant which has bloomed many times.
I keep creating images of the blooms and leaves, trying to get closer to the beauty of it.
