Authentic Life Expression 2008

Reclaim, Honor & Be Your Natural Contribution

When we find ourselves doing work that does not support and nourish our well being, we can easily believe that our dreams are impossible. Can we now affirm that our destiny need not be difficult or out of reach? Can we imagine ourselves fulfilled and fully supported in powerful, effortless work? Can we realize in our working lives what Shakti Gawain asserts, that ÒÉthe universe pays me for being who I am and for doing what I loveÉÓ?

Higher Alignment provides concrete feedback and processes to deepen into our life contributions and to explore how our work can be more fulfilling. The Authentic Life Expression course invokes our capacity to live as Creative Beings, not as ÒreactorsÓ struggling through repeated trials and errors. We uncover the conditioning, defensiveness and idealization in the way we work. We recover our commitment to authentic service and allow its contribution to expand naturally, as those we serve see us for who we truly are.

Along the way, we release our Attachments, Positions and Projections about who we should be and how we should contribute. We learn we no longer need validation and agreement from others about how we should participate. Instead, we operate from Autonomy, Integrity and Enthusiasm as we both contribute and are simultaneously served. This requires going beyond the expectations of parents, the ÒvaluesÓ of our peers, and our attempts to fix problems from our childhood. We know we are embodying our Life Expression when we no longer need to protect, defend or affirm it through performance. Authentic Life Expression becomes an ongoing, humble, inner question about how best to serve in the moment. We validate this service by attracting others who get real value from our contributions and who collaborate with us to expand our service. When we are present with our Authentic Life Expression, we effectively, yet effortlessly orchestrate its manifestation.

This course combines content and process, emphasizing the latter. Content will include deepening in our primary and secondary Creative Expressions and Mental Body Intelligence; shedding light on the 3 defensive shadows of Resistance, Inertia and Intensity; and embracing the 3 components of authentic life expression: creative identity, contribution and constituents. Processes will include dream diaries, guided imagery, defining your mission, vision and values, constituent feedback and group interactions to support the processes.

The course structure will emphasize group support and co-creative collaboration. Teams will be generated randomly, although there is nothing ÒrandomÓ about your decision to take this course now and who shows up now to take it with you. There will be six classes with the facilitator, one every other week. Every alternate week you will develop your confidence by using the scheduled class time to meet without the facilitator, so you can keep ÒroadtestingÓ your progress with your Òpublic.Ó  Every two weeks, teams will ÒrandomlyÓ reshuffle members, to broaden your collaboration with more of your Òpublic.Ó

When enrolling, please tell us your primary and secondary Creative Expression (if you know them; if you donÕt, we will help you identify them and your Mental Body Intelligence). Invite your friends!
