The Normandy Park Police Department will furnish the following equipment:
- Glock 22, 40 Cal. Pistol
- Holster for Glock Pistol
- 3, 40 Cal. Magazines
- 40 Cal. Duty Ammunition
- One Glock 22, 40 Cal. Ammo Pouch ( single magazine pouch )
- 50 Rounds Of 40 Cal. Practice Ammunition Per Month
- Chemical Spray
- Chemical Spray Carrier
- ASP
- ASP carrier
- Taser
- Taser Holster
Before you can carry these weapons you must be qualified to carry them.
Currently, the police department furnishes training for the Glock
22, Chemical Spay, and Taser. ASP training is not currently taught by the police department.
If you have been trained and certified by a WSCJTC ASP instructor, you may carry this
weapon. You must furnish proof, in writing that you have taken and passed this
course of training.

| Personal Weapons |

The Normandy Park Police Department does allow the carrying of personally owned fire arms.
1. If approved by the Chief of Police
2. If they conform to the rules set forth by the Normandy Park Police Department
3. Laser Sights
You will be responsible to furnish all items necessary, to include, but not
limited to, ammo, holster, and inspections by a authorized armorer.

The Normandy Park Police Department will furnish the following clothing and equipment:
- Body Armor
- Badge
- Identification Card
- Department Manual
- City Policy And Procedures Manual
- Police Patches
- Rain Coat
|
| Uniforms |
|
The police uniform consists of:
- *Uniform Shirt, ( short sleeve or long sleeve )
- *Uniform Trousers
- *Hat, ( baseball cap or
Stetson )
- Police Patches
- *Summer Or Winter Jacket
- *Shoes Or Boots, Plain Toe, Black
- *Tie, ( optional with long sleeve shirt only )
- *Black Leather Uniform Trouser Belt
- *Name Tag
- *Black Leather Basket Weave Utility Belt or Black
Nylon Web Utility Belt
The Duty Utility Belt must contain at least the following equipment:
- Weapon With Holster
- Ammo Pouch With Ammunition
- Chemical Spay And Carrier
- *Hand Cuffs And Hand Cuff Case
*The Police Department does not furnish these
item. We will make an effort to supply you with some of these items if we have them.
However, it will be your responsibility to obtain them. Currently these items
can be purchased at any police uniform supply store. Be prepared, they can be
expensive if you do not watch out where you shop. You'll probably be looking at
least $200.00 for this equipment.
