The Normandy Park Police Reserve Program offers you the opportunity to serve as a law enforcement officer, while still working in your current line of employment. We are currently excepting applications for the position of Police Reserve Officer.
     The Normandy Park Reserve Police Force is established for the purpose of providing volunteer police personnel to supplement the regular police force, benefiting both the City and the reserve personnel. The Normandy Park Police Department sincerely appreciates the time and effort contributed by the reserve officers.    The reserve officers of the Normandy Park Police Department are fully commissioned with general peace officer authority, consistent with Washington State Law, while on duty. An off duty reserve officer may identify himself/herself and take appropriate actions if faced with an emergency situation to protect life or property within the City of Normandy Park. Outside the City, when acting within the authority of the Mutual Aid Peace Officer's Powers Act (RCW 10.93), reserve officers may identify themselves as police officers.
