  1. Start by creating a folder (NOT in the PSP8 program folder and preferably on a hard drive other than C) and name it Plugins.
  2. Now create individual folders, inside that folder, for each set of plugins you will be installing. For example....Xero, Visman, and Simple are a few of the best, free, third party filters available, so you would create a new folder inside your Plugins folder and name it Xero, another named Visman, and another named Simple.
  3. Download and unzip the filter to the appropriate folder.
  4. Open Psp8 and click on File > Preferences > File Locations. On the left side of the dialog box, click on Plug-ins. This is very important, so be sure Plug-ins is highlighted!
The right side of the dialog box will show you the folders that Psp8 is currently using to look for plugins. You need to add your new folder to that list.
  5. Click on Add, then Browse. Navigate to your newly created Plugins folder and click OK. Your folder is now added to the list. Open a new image, go to Effects > Plugins and there they are!
