To do your text the way mine is done, you'll need other filters further explained on that page.
Put the gradient SN_BlueFantasy.jgd in your My Psp8 Files\Gradients folder.
1- Open a new image, 400 x 400 Transparent.
2- Using the Materials Palette, left click on the Foreground color box. |
 |
| 3- When the Material Dialog comes up, click on the Gradient tab. |
 |
| 4- Click the drop down arrow and look for SN_BlueFantasy. Set Repeats at 2. Under Style, click the third box, Sunburst. Make sure 'Link center and focal points' is checked and Horizontal/Vertical are both at 50. |
 |
5- Using the Flood Fill tool Match Mode None, Blend Mode Normal, Opacity 100, left click on your image to flood fill with the gradient.
6- Go to Effects > Plugins > VM Distortion > Radiator and use the following settings:
Generator 1 (193)
Generator 2 (70)
Generator 3 (202)
Frequency (124)
Heat (124)
Fine Tuning (221)
7- Layers > New Raster Layer > OK. Using the Dropper Tool left click on a light color from your image. Left click the Foreground color box in the Materials Palette... |
 |
| ...and in the Material Dialog, click on the Color Tab. Go down to the number values and lighten your color by making the number next to 'L' higher. I ended up with HTML #A495E3. |
 |
Note: The 'S' is for Saturation and the higher the number, the brighter the color. If your lighter color seems too bright, lower the Saturation. Click OK.
8- Now Flood Fill the new layer with your new lighter color and continue on to Page 2. |
