To use these Path Shapes, unzip to a folder of your choice.

All my Path Shapes will work in PI 8 and above (they may even work in older versions...I'm not sure), but the procedure for adding them to your Easy Palette is slightly different, depending on which version you are using.

For PhotoImpact 8:

1. Open PI and open the Easy Palette.
2. Click on the icon for the Object Library on the top of the Easy Palette.
3. Now click the drop down arrow next to the Object Library icon.
4. Point to Object Library Manager and choose Import.
5. Browse to where you unzipped the file and highlight the uol.
6. Tick "Open as a new Object Library" and click Open.

For PhotoImpact 10:

1. Open PI and open the Easy Palette.
2. Click on the icon for the Object Library on the top of the Easy Palette.
3. Now click the drop down arrow next to the Object Library icon.
4. Point to Object Library Manager and choose Load.
5. Browse to where you unzipped the file and highlight the uol.
6. Tick "Open as a new Object Library" and click Open.

so your new shapes will not be lost in the event of a pc meltdown or PI reinstall.

If you have your own folder where you want to keep your additional shapes,
follow these instructions for keeping them in groups:

For PhotoImpact 8:

1. Open PI and open the Easy Palette.
2. Click on the icon for the Object Library on the top of the Easy Palette.
3. Click on your Library (whatever you've named it) to highlight it.
4. Now click the drop down arrow next to the Object Library icon.
5. Point to Object Library Manager and choose Import.
6. Browse to where you unzipped the file and highlight the uol.
7. Tick "Merge file with the active Object Library".
8. Merge type should be "Merge group by group" and click Open.

For PhotoImpact 10:

1. Open PI and open the Easy Palette.
2. Click on the icon for the Object Library on the top of the Easy Palette.
3. Click on your Library (whatever you've named it) to highlight it.
4. Now click the drop down arrow next to the Object Library icon.
5. Point to Object Library Manager and choose Load.
6. Browse to where you unzipped the file and highlight the uol.
7. Tick "Merge file with the active Object Library".
8. Merge type should be "Merge group by group" and click Open.
