Through Sarah and John GREER's son Benjamin GREER b. Jan. 1726/27 Baltimore Co., MD who married Rachel LOWE.
Through Benjamin and Rachel GREER's son Martin GEER b. 1756, Bedford Co., VA d. 1822) who married Mary WRIGHT.
Through Martin and Mary GREER's daughter Nancy GREER who married John MAY in Davidson Co., TN in 1805.
Through Nancy and John MAY's son William MAY who married Nancy NEWSOM in 1829 Madison Co., TN.

My husband's Day line begins with the "earliest known" ancestor PHILIP DAY (b. 1740 in
Va.) (NOTE - Philip's will was written about 1793 and he died about 1796. In Phillip Day's Will, he says sell his blacksmith tools when he dies to educate his children. There is a sale about 1796 for the Blacksmith tools. The Estate sale is shortly after 1820. This would indicate the date of death of the wife as dictated by Philip in his will.)
His wife, Frances Mansfield, died about 1821-23.
Philip was the son of JOHN DAY and Jane SPANN.
Philip married Frances Mansfield and had the following children:

In an 1850 census, Jemima Day was living with a Charles Simmons who was a grandson of the Charles Simmons who was married to an Elizabeth who died on 7 Oct. 1823/33?
