My Lott Ancestors

My Lott ancestors have been a rather elusive bunch to track! I have only been able to find information back to Eli LOTT who had a son named Franklin C. LOTT (born 4 February 1846 in Ohio; died 7 January 1920 in Gatlin Cemetery in Humphreys Co., TN). Franklin LOTT married Julia Ann Aulford (b. 7 Nov. 1849, Ala.; died 24 April 1918, Gatlin Cem., Humphreys Co., TN).

Known children of Franklin C. LOTT and Julia Ann Aulford were:

1. Ethel Mae LOTT (b. 27 June 1879, Humphreys Co., TN) married William Thomas SPENCER (1869-1930). They are both buried in Ebenezer Cemetery in Humphreys Co., TN. They had several children all born in Lobelville, (Perry Co., TN) and Humphreys Co., TN.

2. Mary Ann LOTT (b. 16 Sept. 1877, Humphreys Co., TN; died 23 July 1945) married George Thomas SHERROD. I have no other info. on this line at this time.

3. Lela LOTT (b. 4 July 1882, Humphreys Co., TN; died 26 Sept. 1980, Humphreys Co., TN). She married Eddie Walter CURTIS. I have no further info. on this line at this time.

4. William McKinley LOTT (b. 3 November 1897? Humphreys Co., TN; died 3 April 1926 in Humphreys Co., TN. He married Rebecca GATLIN. I have no further info. on this line at this time.

Beverly Lott Freeman begins her Lott search with John Lott, b. 1817 in TN, (she states she does not know where, or names of parents and/or siblings, but she does have most of his descendents). John LOTT was married at least twice and had a total of 9 children: five (those listed below) by his first wife, and four (those listed below) by his second wife.
I have very little information about 2 children, but almost complete information about the other 7 and their descendants to the present.
Henry Burton applied for a Revolutionary War pension from Humphries County, TN in the 1820's ...his grand daughter, Betsy Robbins married John Lott. (I don't know when or where) - John Lott is first listed in the McNairy County, TN census in 1850, with Betsy and their children. John LOTT's wife's parents and grandparents lived in Humphreys County, TN in the 1820s and 1830's. They were William A. Robbins and Henry Burton, Revolutionary War Veteran (mentioned above).

Humphries County, TN census lists a David (or Dave Lot) in 1830 and afterwards. By 1850 there is also an Elizabeth Lott listed in Humphries County. Dave is sometimes recorded as black(?), which caused me to disregard him as an earlier ancestor, but that distinction is not always correct.
