Moving his equipment to the shoreline at "Oak Point", Mr. Whitaker took this picture looking towards the other Franklin Street dwelling overlooking the lake. This farm is best known as the Red Farm, although known by other names in earlier years. It was at this farm that Helen Keller was a summer guest of Edgar Chamberlain, a writer for The Boston Transcript. |
