Curtis Stone House, Common Street

This house at 60 Common Street was first owned by Daniel Hawes in the late 1700s. Curtis Stone and his family occupied it from about 1843 to 1922. The next house was that of Samuel Warner, historian and Judge. In the distance one can see the village centre and on the right edge, Curtis Stone's first store.
