Gerould Homestead, 102 South Street

This house was built about 1860 for the Joseph B. Gerould family. His three daughters, Susan, Ellen, and Mary taught school in Wrentham. About the 1950s and 60s it housed an apartment upstairs and a restaurant, run by Bert Thompson, on the first floor. It has, for years, been the home of the Wrentham Co-Operative Bank. .
