The David Fisher House at 22 Dedham Street

This house at 22 Dedham Street, built c1800, was owned by David Fisher. It was later the home of Handel Pond, organist and Deacon of the Congregational Church. Charles Hamilton, a sea captain, lived there followed by the Haehnels in the 1930s and 50s. The building is now owned by the Congregational Church, housing an apartment and the "Women's Exchange". It has been named "The Whiston House" after The Reverend Lionel Whiston, a longtime minister.
