Breeder ~ Crabbit Arabian Stud
He was imported to America in 1932.
At one time he was the smallest regeristed Arabian in this country.
*Raffles sired 123 registered foals and was also crossed often with Welsh ponies.
In 1933 he was named National Three-Gaited Champion
at the National Arabian Show in Nashville, Tennessee.

Raffles goes back to Zobeyni 12 times out of 32 ancestors in the 6th generation.
Raffles great grand dam, Rose of Sharon, is of the Kehilan family line.

Raffles at 24 years of age
Not bad for a horse of 24 that had broken his leg at 23.

Zobeyni was a grey Seglawi Jedran stallion of the strain of Ibn Sbeyni
of the Mehed tribe of the Fedaan Anazeh Bedouins,
bred in Arabia and imported to Egypt in the 19th century.
