This is where you'll find stuff that's probably far more
interesting than anything on the rest of the site, because somebody else is
providing the content. I'll try to continue to update this as I find
something worth sharing.

See Pictures of: The
2002 Canyon Cougars of 65 Reunion along with other stuff
Garr and
Linda Lystad have to share on their web pages, some of it very eclectic.

This reunion was the result of the efforts of Steve Mathias and other
classmates that were reunited through email and the wonders of Internet search
engines and web pages. Many in the group of nine who met in September 2002
in Poulsbo (at our home) had not seen one another since the about 1965.
The pictures on Garr Lystad's web site (Thank You again, Garr!) speak for
themselves.

Bad Golf
The place to go if you, like me, are a true hacker and need a
place to commiserated with other bad golfers.
Golf Handicaps This
is where you can find out the true golf handicap of anybody who maintains a
legitimate handicap. You just need their name and state.
Book 4 Golf
This is one of the sites that will allow you to book tee times on-line.

Michael Moore I'm not a fan of Michael's politics, in general, but I
still think he's pretty funny and his targets deserve his shots.
Geek Destinations
Leo Laporte This
is a link to Leoville, Leo's personal web page. Leo is my computer
guru. I've learned much of what I know about computers through his radio
and TV shows. He manages to be honest, entertaining and still
educational. Even barbara likes him, though she's not anything close to a
geek.
The Screen Savers
This is Leo Laporte's TV show on the Tech TV
network. Actually, most of Tech TV is worth watching if you share my geek
leanings, but The Screen savers is the best of the bunch. This site is
linked to all the other Tech TV sites and is a wealth of useful
information. They provide probably the most reliable advice on computer
hardware and software, including where to get the best prices and what's worth
buying.
Kim Komando I
know this sounds like a lame superhero name, but it's the real name of a female
computer writer with a radio show on computers. Although she's not as
entertaining as Leo Laporte, she's better looking. Most radio stations who
broadcast her show do so on Saturday mornings. Her show and web site are
very helpful.
Crucial Technologies
This is the place to go for computer memory. I
suspect you might occasionally find memory cheaper at places like Circuit City,
this seems to be a consistently good place to get it cheap and quick. I
have had excellent luck with them. They also make it very easy to figure
out exactly what you need to upgrade your particular computer.

Contra Costa County's
This is a
link to the web site of a friend, Pete
Torrey, who sold our last two houses and who is
demonstrably the finest Realtor in Contra Costa County (you can only cover so
much territory, Pete). If you're selling or buying real estate in CCC, you
can't possibly do better than to go with Pete.
Portland's
Best Realtor While he is also my
cousin, that doesn't change the fact that Harley Brooks and his wife Vickie are
one dynamite team. They are long-time real estate professionals of high
integrity who I trust implicitly and give my unqualified recommendation. If
you're selling or buying real estate in Portland, see them first.
