LAWRENCE COUNTYAQUATICS, INC.

Home of the STARS

Lawrence County Aquatics, Inc. (LCA) is a not-for-profit organization formed to foster, maintain, and support the recreational and competitive swimming activities of the corporation members and teams. LCA is a chartered member of Indiana Swimming Inc. and USA Swimming.

Membership

Lawrence County Aquatics welcomes male and female swimmers ranging in age as young as 6 years old to Seniors in High School of all skill levels.

Fees

Lawrence County Aquatics collects monthly fees from each swimmer. A small annual fee is also paid to USS Swimming that includes insurance for each swimmer at practice and at meets.

Coaching

All coaches for LCA are registered and certified thru Indiana Swimming, Inc. Their certifications include CPR, First Aid, and Water Safety Training for Swim Coaches.

Practices

Practices are offered 3-5 days each week and are always optional. However, swimming is a skill developed through consistent practice. LCA understands that young people may also be participating in other activities.

Meets

Local and out-of-town meets are scheduled periodically for those swimmers who want to test their skills within their own age group. Competing in meets is not required for LCA swimmers.

Accomplishments

LCA, Inc. swimmers consistently qualify for semi-state and state level meets. LCA swimmer accomplishments include Individual Semi-State Champions, Age Group State Medalists, Indiana All-State Team Member, Central Zone Age Group Champion, Quad Meet Champion, Age Group State Champion, and Individual Top 16 National Qualifier.
