Thanks for visiting. This site is the home of the new Snort Illinois Users Group . Our objective is to provide a forum for the exchange of information and ideas related to network security and intrusion detection systems, with special emphasis on the SNORT Open Source IDS.

If you are interested in joining SIUG or helping us get things rolling, please send us an email. Once we have a core of members we will plan the first of our regular monthly meetings which will be held at the Harper College Northeast Center in Prospect Heights, IL.
