The Great Blue Heron again (December 19, 2002) on the El Granada
Burnham Strip
I was out taking pictures of flooded areas, and when we were by the
Burnham Strip the person who was with me pointed out the Great Blue
Heron which was only about 20 feet away. I was standing on the Hwy 1
shoulder in front of the Portola Pump Station.
