Family and Tradition
Family and friends are very important to us. We have many friends, most of
whom have children, and family on both sides of the country, and spending
quality time with them ranks very high on our list of priorities. Both our
parents have been married for over 30 years and eagerly look forward to a
new addition to the family. Some of our favorite gatherings are birthdays,
Sunday football and Thanksgiving, mostly spent at Amy’s parents with lots of
food and good laughs. Our dog Buckley really enjoys our holidays, taking in
way too many leftovers! We spend Christmas and New Year's on the east coast
or a warmer destination such as Mexico or the Caribbean with Matt’s parents,
brother Todd and his girlfriend Cindy.

Amy

Amy
is a very loving person who is looking forward to being a mom! She has
worked for a number of years but now enjoys balancing charity work,
exercising, and keeping a warm, well organized household. Amy walks our dog
every morning and cannot wait to have a little one join their morning
routine. She looks forward to reading bedtime stories, making cookies and
pizzas and particularly going to all the amusement parks! Amy will be a
great full-time mom who will instill the caring and fun- loving values that
make her the wonderful person she is.
Matt

Matt is very young at heart! He is funny and fair and takes great pride in
providing for his family. He loves bike riding and surfing which he has been
doing since the age of 9. Matt works in the auto business and his employees
always tell me what a good manager he is. One of the things that attracted
me to Matt is his worldliness; he has traveled all over and since we have
been together we make it a priority to see a new place in the world every
year and take smaller vacations every few months. He definitely believes in
the “work hard, play hard” theory, just like his parents.

Our Home
We live in
Pleasanton, California (40 minutes east of San Francisco) with our dog
Buckley. Our neighborhood is safe and quiet with kids on bikes and
skateboards going to and from school. We live minutes from Amy’s family
(Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, Brother-in-Law and Nephew Cole). We feel very
lucky living so close to the city, the beach and Lake Tahoe. Enjoying these
great places will only be more special when we have a child to share it
with!
