ROYAL ANCESTRY OF THE HOUSE OF LEMAVIA

DESCENDANCE FROM HENRY II, KING OF ENGLAND, AND SAINT LOUIS, KING OF FRANCE[1]

Henry II, King of England (1133 - 1189), was the great-grandson of King William the Conqueror of England, Duke of Normandy.

Louis IX, King of France (25 April 1214 – 25 August 1270), was canonized as Saint Louis.

DESCENDANCE FROM FREDERICK I BARBAROSSA, HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR, AND SAINT FERDINAND, KING OF CASTILE AND LEON

Through Infante Don Fernando de la Cerda (1275-1322), the House of Lemavia transmits the blood of the Holy Roman Emperor Frederick I (1122 – 10 June 1190) and Saint Ferdinand, King of Castile and Leon (August 5, 1199 – May 30, 1252).

Similarly, the House of Lemavia also descends from King Alfonso X of Castile through the Counts of Lemos: King Sancho IV of Castile, brother of Crown Prince Don Ferdinand de la Cerda, had with Doña Maria de Ucedo a daughter named Doña Violante Sanchez de Castile, born in 1275. In the year 1293, Doña Violante married Don Fernan Ruiz de Castro, Count of Lemos[2].
