In these pages we offer a different view of the World. A view according to which:
All life is precious, and a manifestation of our Creator.
Individuals should be treated with respect and dignity, in a free and open society.
No culture, ethnic or religion is better than other. All civilizations must learn to coexist in peace.
Human dignity is bound up with taking responsibility for conducting one’s private affairs in absolute liberty, and fully accepting the consequences of our acts.
The goal does not justify the means.
Honor is our most precious possession.
Only God and Time confer (internal) nobility. Monarchs can only publicize (externalize) it.
Nobility is not a privilege, but a duty towards our family and our communities. Noblesse oblige.
When used to obtain privileges, nobility becomes the hollow mark of a courtier.
We believe that, just like individuals, families grow up to acquire maturity, confidence, self-consciousness and identity of its own. This is an awakening process that usually takes centuries to be accomplished. Once achieved, it makes possible to reach the impossible. Families blessed in this manner act and live with an intergenerational strategy. Individuals sacrifice for the good of descendants they will never know. Descendants learn, love and follow the example of progenitors they never met. We can truly say that our ancestors are not counted among the dead, not only as a matter of Christian faith but with practical evidence, for their loving memories guide us through the right path in today's uncertain world.
If every man and woman is called to be a good Christian, every family is called to become a noble family. It is its intergenerational translation. Perfect Christians become Saints, and excellent families become noble, whether or not they are recognized as such by a Pope or Monarch. With one caveat: Nobility is an immense responsibility towards our forefathers, our descendants and our communities. We must transmit our honor to the next generation in not worse condition than we have inherited it (Tradidi quod Accepi).
The HOUSE OF LEMAVIA has been a force of Good for over 1,000 years. During this period, we had to take arms, fight, bleed and die defending our ideals of liberty and justice against uncountable aggressors. Today, like a Millennium ago, we transmit to the next generation the example of men and women of virtue and wisdom. This is a task that has made us immensely happy for centuries. The purpose of these pages is to offer to others this path to bliss.
