Leon held his concert to the first of six shows the night before. It's been
quite a few years since Leon held a concert in HK. Although there were no
special grand costume designs and no dance performances, whenever Leon sang
his classic songs, he received the audience's cheers. The entire audience
was high and the atmosphere heated up.
Besides Leon inviting good friends Chapman To, Mark Lui, and Michael Wong, whenever he changed into another attire, there were splendid acrobatic performances. Chapman appeared on a bike hanging in the air and made a speech like on Leon's behalf. He said, "I'm called Lai 'Siu' Ming. Although I'm always appearing, people don't really recognize me. After Chapman's speech, it was Leon's other good friend Mark Lui appearing on stage. I better take off my jacket before this turns into 'Bak Gum' (*slang for funeral funds)." Mark spoke frankly that before getting to know Leon, his impression was ok. He hated him before. After knowing him, he realizes Leon is straightforward and loyal. And Leon praised Mark's compositions, but said his singing is..., Leon faced Mark and said sorry.
Asked if Chapman's speech represented his own words, Leon said, "I don't know. We didn't plan this. He say whatever he wants. When he was talking, I didn't listen because I was changing my clothes." Regarding the rumors, Leon said, "In this society, there are true and false things so there's news. Anyways, there's no need for an answer. You have the right to ask, but I have the right to not answer." He said that he's not a company, so his privacy doesn't have to be reported.
Chapman expressed that he learned to dance like Rain because of his wife Krystal Tin. He said, "Wife told me to learn how to dance like Rain for her to see. After seeing, she told me to go to hell. He's Rain. You think I'm Rain Li?" He expressed that he felt that Leon was a hated type of person before. After getting to know him, he saw his real side. Asked if he knows about Leon's current love life, he said, "I don't see it. I believe he's pretty dry."
