In September, Leon secretly had his physique measured for a wax figure of his character Li Xiao Jun from the movie Comrades, Almost a Love Story. It will be released at the end of this month becoming Madame Tussauds last celebrity wax figure of 2006. From the visitors survey done by the museum, Leon is one of the most sought-after local male celebrities and hopes the wax figure can raise the level of interest in local movies from people.
During the measuring process, sculptors from the UK did over 200 measurements of Leon's physique. Leon was in a posture on the turntable, and they took pictures from every angle. His hair, eyes, and teeth color were precisely matched for the wax figure to be more real. Leon spoke frankly that the process was unforgettable for him. He also said, "While I was studying in the UK, I visited Madame Tussauds. It's an honor becoming a part of the HK branch." Leon's wax figure will appear at the World Premier section. Guests and Li Xiao Jun wax figure can reenact the scene from Comrades, Almost a Love Story riding a bike along the streets of HK.
