Leon's favorite Janice, whose concert at the end of March, has a warm response. The sponsor originally intended to add more shows, but Leon blocked the way and took the schedule to plan a Four Heavenly Kings Concert. If Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau, and Aaron Kwok agree to perform, it certainly will become the most focused concert of 2007.
When the 90's Four Heavenly Kings prevailed, Jacky, Andy, Leon, and Aaron were inextricably involved in competitions. Each person has a lot of classic songs like Jacky's Love You More Each Day, Andy's The Days We Passed Together, Leon's There's Not A Day I Don't Think Of You, and Aaron's Love Call which were all #1 on many pop charts. Earlier, TVB's Top Ten JSG Music Awards 25th Anniversary wanted to invite the Four Heavenly Kings to attend, but due to various reasons, it was not accomplished in the end making many fans feel disappointed. However, at Leon's careful planning, the Four Heavenly Kings Concert will perhaps become reality this year.
According to sources, the advance ticket reservations and internal pre-sales are already full for Janice's first concert from March 29th to April 1st of four shows. An insider described it as an outpour and is sufficient to add more shows. After Justin Lo, Janice becomes another popular newcomer, who is able to perform at the HK Coliseum for a female singer within a short time. However, the perfect dream of adding shows is shattered by Leon, who promoted her. Initially, Ayumi Hamasaki will be holding a concert after Janice, and the sponsor wanted to add more shows for Janice after Ayumi's concert. But, Leon has an idea of a concert and album mainly singing songs by the Four Heavenly Kings. As he performs their classic songs, he invites Jacky, Andy, and Aaron as guests. Because of it, Janice's dream of adding shows is shattered.
Leon's record company AMusic executive Alvin Wang confirmed, "In the beginning, Janice's concert shows were to be added at the schedule, but Leon has an idea for the Four Heavenly Kings Concert in the end, so Janice does not have a date for adding more shows. There will be no part 2 this year." Whether Leon will be inviting the three Heavenly Kings as guests, he said, "Don't know yet. The production is still in the talking stage, but the concert is very likely."
Recent years, the Four Heavenly Kings were on the same stage at the HKFA to mourn the passing of Leslie Cheung, but they have not gathered together since.
