The night before, Leon, Janice, Jill, Gigi Leung, and others participated in TVB8 and CCTV joint program 2007 Beijing Lunar New Year Celebration. Leon, Janice, and Jill acted in a musical. Leon plays a Beijing-born HK singer developing in New York, but he still misses Beijing very much. The twin sisters had to sit on bikes while singing. They both joked that it's a pity it wasn't Leon riding the bikes, else they can reenact a classic scene from Comrades, Almost A Love Story starring Leon and Maggie Cheung.
Moreover, the twin sisters performed some basic magic which they trained for more than a week. They were successful, but the MC Eric Tsang purposely teased them by wanting them to say New Year greetings in Putonghua to 1.3 billion people. Fortunately, Leon already taught them, so they successfully passed. After the show, Leon brought a group to eat lamb hot pot.
