Directed by Tony Ching, An Empress And The Warriors screened in many Asian areas including HK, mainland, Taiwan, and Malaysia has broken through the HK$60 million box office barrier. The result made the production crew excited.
Earlier, Kelly flew to Singapore to promote the movie. At the event, she was welcomed by a thousand fans. Besides singing the movie's themesong 隨夢而飛 (Fly With Dreams) with the fans, she wrote the movie's name in calligraphy. The scene was extremely lively. Afterwards, she and Leon will attend the premiere in Korea.
In the movie, Kelly played Princess Fei Er who was struck with a poison needle in her back. She encountered Leon's character Lan Quan who saved her with herbal medicine. Leon and Kelly have close skin contact. To film this wound treatment, Leon revealed Kelly's health regimen. He said, "Every time we film in the morning shift, we work from 6 a.m. till 8 p.m. Kelly would not eat anything and just go straight to sleep. When she sleeps, it's for 15 hours. She called it the natural diet method. Don't need to eat nutritious meal and can be slim. Save a lot of money!" Leon and director Ching both teased her, "She's actually a sleeping princess! After 10 years, she should look exactly the same."
Kelly admitted, "If you want good skin, besides using skincare products, getting enough sleep is the most important. I have to use the time to rest! Therefore, the most difficult is filming overnight." When filming overnight, she would cook midnight snacks in the trailer like banana pancake or chocolate cake.
