When I'm on the go, I operate mobile from my 2001 Tundra. I'm active on all bands 160m - 440MHz including the new 60m band. On 160-10m the antenna is a Tarheel #400 screwdriver. The HF rig is an ICOM IC-706MKIIG. Tarheel makes really good antennas and their customer support is unparalled. This antenna system works great especially on the low bands. Notable low band contacts include working Europe & Australia on 75 & 40m SSB.

On 6m the antenna is a Diamond monoband whip. On 2m / 70cm a dual band Diamond high gain whip is used and on 1-1/4m I use a Comet whip. The IC-706MKIIG is used for 6m (100w), 2m(50w), and 70cm (20w). On 1-1/4m I use an ADI Communications ADI-247 (30w).
