Fluffy, a/k/a Ginny Gilbertie Williams, has been my best friend since we were nine.
We met riding our bikes in Westport, CT, where we both grew up and our parents still live.

Chris Felknor and Jeanne Wildman are buddies from the Folk Song Society.
They're married and live in Arlington, Mass. We've been singing together as the
Simones (named after my cat) with Kathryn Kaufman (see below).
This picture was taken at a folk music weekend in Rockport, MA, in February 1996.

Kathryn Kaufman, another friend from the Folk Song Society, and I worked
together on the Folk Song Society newsletter for many years.
I did the typing and layout, and then Kathryn looked everything over and did
spot illustrations. We tried to make a point of putting a sketch of my cat, Simone,
in every issue! Kathryn plays harmonica, autoharp, melodica, and other instruments
with the Simones, along with Chris and Jeanne (above) and me.

Robert Wilson
, computer programmer and folk musician.
Robert moved back to Manhattan, his native land, in August of 1995.
We met through the Folk Song Society and drove people crazy with our faux-insulting
banter. This picture was taken at a folk music weekend in Rockport, MA, in February 1996.

Elsa Elliott is a social researcher, currently working in the field of health and addictions research. We got to be
pals through a monthly recreational singing group, and have since worked & played together through the Folk Song Society, the Nameless Coffeehouse (where she
served on the board of directors for a year) and the New England Folk Festival Association. This photo was taken at the Nameless Coffeehouse in 1995. She's at
the front desk trying to get audience members to give her money. |
