Brent Owens' 1969 TRIUMPH HERALD 13/60
For Sale -- 1969 Triumph Herald 13/60 Convertible. Jasmine yellow with black interior. Fully restored show winner and known as "the Herald from hell" on autocross track. Period alloy wheels with 185/60 tires, plus original wheels with stock size tires and hub caps. New top and original tonneau cover. New carpet. Excellent original interior. The following have been rebuilt or replaced: 1500 engine rebuilt, ported, polished, balanced, 3 angle valve job, bronze valve guides, with Cline cam, 1 1/4 twin S.U. carbs, headers, oil cooler, spin on filter adaptor, lightened flywheel, clutch/pressure plate/throw out bearing, crane XR700 electronic ignition. Very fast and reliable. Rebuilt non-overdrive transmission with Redline gear lube, plus overdrive transmission (not installed). Rebushed front and rear suspension. Spax shocks front. Corvette rear shocks. GT6 front springs. Balanced drive shaft and new U-joints. New rear axle U-joints. 1500 Spitfire rear spring; tie rod ends; rebuilt steering rack and rubber boots; ball joints; trunions front and rear; 7/8ths front sway bar with polyurethane bushings; rear sway bar (not yet installed); door rubber; generator and voltage regulator; fuel pump; tach; oil pressure gauge; new brake master cylinder, rebuilt calipers, new rear cylinders, rebuilt clutch master cylinder, rebuilt clutch slave cylinder and silicone brake fluid.
