July 2008 brought some overcast skies however the LICPOA turned out to help Station Eaton's Neck construct a fence around the Housing Playground. After a long day, Chapter President Mike Koch hosted a picnic at his house. The kids and families really appreciate the added safety measures to protect the kids.

04/16/08; This month’s meeting was used to perform our community service project at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge. Our treasurer John Marschhauser organized the event and had this to say "after a day of hard labor, I can say that I’m glad I don’t have to work this hard all the time." Ten members from the chapter and three PCPO's from Sector Long Island Sound laid 400' of fence in eight hours. The photo's below show just how hard it is to replace fence.
