Nothing Before First

For the past couple of days I have had computer problems. The DVD and CD ROM drives disappeared from My Computer and Windows would not load them. I noticed the problem when I attempted to install a new version of Sword Searcher, a bible program. I did many things to resolve the problem and even searched Google to find a solution but I couldn't find anything that appeared to work. This morning I got up shortly after 5:00 AM and walked into the office to turn my computer on and thought I would struggle with the problem some more. As I walked into the office I thought of a message that I heard Pastor Kathy, one of the Pastors at the Church I have been attending, minister last Sunday morning. The message was about putting God first and I think the title which she emphasized several times, was "Nothing before First". When I thought of that message, instead of turning the computer on I reached for my bible and took it into the kitchen where I sat down and opened up to First Kings, reading about Solomon. After almost 2 hours, reading several chapters and enjoying the messages that they were preaching to me, I finally went into the office and turned the computer on. I did a Google search and happened to see a couple of articles that I had not noticed before, concerning the problems that I was experiencing with the drives that would not load into Windows. One solution involved deleting some filters from the registry, which ordinarily would scare me, but this time I followed the directions and then when I looked at My Computer, there the drives were that had been missing. I don't need to tell you that I praised and thanked my Lord.

I used the CD ROM drive to install the new version of the bible software.
