Caly's first week home - 7 weeks old

As Caly grows up, I will continue to add links here. So much changes on a weekly basis for the first 6 months. Then the changes come more slowly. My goal is to capture some details of her life and the changes she has and will undergo. For those curious, the links to the right will take you to some of weeks during her first year . . . showing you what she looked or looks like during her puppy, teen and adult stages.

Caly in the kitchen, learning that there just might be a magic food fairy that drops food from the ceiling.

Momma Carmen gave Miss Caly this cute little squeaky crab. As of 1/9/06, she still has it and still loves it! It's a bit worn, but still in one piece!

A filled bone gift from Momma Carmen.

"I'm supposed to get this big?" - Caly at 13 lbs and 7 weeks old.

The theory behind this filled bone: To help get this young pup through the night in her new crate.
She, however, never made it in there for sleeping at least. Curled up between Mom & Dad's pillows seemed like a cozy place to dream the night away.

Note to self: If you plan on having your dog (ALL 70+ lbs of dog!) sleep on your bed every night, starting this at 7 weeks is good. If not, well ...

"HELLO!" <Hello ... hello ... hello>

"Okay, seriously! I'm just a little puppy. Things are scary. And no one is answering!"
