And YES I have gone out in all these outfits except for the ones with the aprons on. A 1950's television style housewife would never go out in public wearing her apron unless it was just to the neighbors for a cup of sugar.
When I go out I also wear gloves, and either a hat held on with a hat pin or a scarf. If it was cold I also wear either a sweater or a coat. If it is raining I add an umbrella. Finally to complete my look I carry a hand bag over the arm and a hankie in my hand. A 1950's television style housewife never used a shoulder handbag. That was just not lady like.
