This form IS NOT the empathy belly.  Using this form is done at your own risk.


  1. Fill a 20"beach ball with the amount of warm water for the month being portrayed. (See chart below)

  2. Place Vaseline covered gauze pads on the stomach where ever there is a pressure point.
      (You will know where these are as they will become blisters if they are not covered when the form is on)

  3. Sit on front edge of chair and lean back placing shoulders on the back of the chair & place a bath towel on stomach        with the short end of the towel at the nipple line.

  4. Place 1/2" thick 10" square foam pad on stomach between the belly button & the penis.

  5. Place beach ball on foam pad with the fill valve pointing
       towards your head.

  6. Fold towel over form so the other end of towel is at nipple line also.

  7. Horizontally wrap form with 2 elastic bandages. (All elastic bandages are 4" wide)

  8. Put on strap assembly & tighten.

  9. Horizontally wrap assembly with 1 elastic bandage.

10. Put on outer 1" thick foam pad. (Pad should be shaped to cover entire form with a piece to go between the legs.
      (If 2nd ball is used put it on now just under the outer foam pad) (do not place either ball directly against the                stomach)

11. Wrap outer foam pad with 3 to 4 elastic bandages.

2nd BALL OF 2 POUNDS PLACED BETWEEN 20 POUND BALL & THE NIPPLE LINE.

Strap assembly consists of a pad that goes in the middle of the back to distribute the straps pressure evenly. 3 1" wide straps. 1 strap for the top, 1 for the middle, & 1 for the bottom of the form. These straps are held together in the back by loops sewn on the back pad and together in the front with heavy string, or lawn chair webbing material. straps holding the front together must be adjustable to allow expansion to the form for the month simulating. If this assembly is adjusted properly the weight of the form should be felt in the back just above the hips. You should also be able to stand up after step 8 with out the form falling off.

 

Words of caution:

This form does cause the pregnant waddle & back ache a real pregnant woman feels. As such after removing the form be careful with over exertion of your back for a few days as it will be weakened from the form and may go out on you.
