The Commonwealth Chamber Ensemble is a woodwind ensemble based in Richmond, Virginia. Formed in 2003, the group has an extensive musical library and many combined years’ experience playing classical and popular favorites. Though primarily a Woodwind Quintet, the Commonwealth Chamber Ensemble is available in various instrumental groups for your special event, including (but not limited to): ¨ Dinners ¨ Weddings ¨ Church Services ¨ Receptions Our ensemble is suitable for venues both large and small. As you can see on our Repertoire page, our music library covers the classics: Mozart, Beethoven, Bach and Haydn, as well as lesser known composers of the Baroque, Classical and Romantic Periods. We play pieces written specifically for the Woodwind Quintet, as well as arrangements of familiar classical music and popular holiday selections.
